Ancient Guardians/Titans: A Theory on the Stone Statue
BioWare offered us an intriguing glimpse of a stone relief of what seems to be a person, or the top portion of one, in the 2018 PAX West demo. This could be an image of one of the gods, or of some noted person from the past which is possible. Let me offer a theory on the ancient guardians/Titans and their possible relationship to the stone relief. The stone relief may be the beginning of an ancient guardian, a statuesque figure to inspire the onlooker. A protector and the representation of a noble civilization. Within the Shaper Relics this concept may still may be present. When a Shaper Relic randomly turns on it may produce an ancient guardian out of stone, but unfinished, unstable and dangerous in keeping with volatility of the Shaper Relics. The Titans which are noted as ancient guardians seem to be sculpted out of stone, but not refined as the relief may suggest. A brutish unfinished work without the guidance of the gods to control their machines. An unfinished work without knowing its purpose, like a child with a weapon.

Note: Notice on the Titans back there are two panels that appear when that Titan uses its power beam. This may be one way to destroy the Titan when these panels are open, maybe for cooling purposes.
